Lashes to Lashes

The king of all things good in this world! When first thinking about doing L2L Girls/Guys, Ewie was at the top of the list, but I didn’t want to get all of my favourites out in one go. However it’s been way too long now and I need to get all this Ewan love out.

Why hasn’t this man won an Academy Award- hell, he hasn’t won a bloody BAFTA or SAG Award! How? HOW? He is the only man that can Obi-Wan it, Moulin Rouge it, Curt Wild-it then Stay-it! It’s an absolute disgrace and he should have the sun named after him..

Aaaaanyway! *cough* Ewan is by far one if the best- if not, the best- actor of our generation. Not only because he was Obi-Wan or Christian (even though they helped show the world who Ewan-motherf*cking-McGregor was, there’s so many more amazing characters this man has portrayed, with so much depth and complexity (and fun to them!).

I’ve been a fan of Ewan’s (isn’t everyone a fan of Ewan’s?) since I was about seven years old; when I saw Shallow Grave on tv. With his long hair and perfect eyes, I totally fell in love with him- and it’s hard not to. He is a pro-active and fearless actor and a real down-to-earth human being (if you’ve seen Long Way Round, Long Way Down or any of the animal specials he’s been a part of, you know what I mean) that uses his popularity for good causes, such as UNICEF.

Now, this wouldn’t be a real homage to Ewan McGregor unless we talked about his awesome (some say ‘rebellious’) style. Like his acting, Ewan can do it all and makeevery single bit of it look good. Kilts, scarfs, mohawks, eyeliner; you think a guy can’t pull it off? Then you haven’t seen Ewan.

He’s also the only person that can pull off that stupid ‘faux- moustache’ crap.

Nothing about Ewan is put on or fake. There’s always a part of him that people relate to and find attractive. The only person that doesn’t like Ewan is a Sasquatch- and we’re pretty sure that doesn’t exist, so it’s safe to say that Ewan McGregor is the king of the world with majors in Awesome Style, Hottest Man voted by Men and Most Wanted Husband voted by Women.. and possibly Most Wanted Dad by kids, because honestly, what kid wouldn’t want Obi Wan as their dad.
 

With serious talent in the acting and singing departments, a massive heart, fearless attitude to his work and life and never-ending compassion for the things he holds dear, Ewan is our King, and around here our kings are our L2L Guys.

People of the world, Ewan McGregor is our new L2L Guy.
